Philadelphia's Mission Possible!

Seeing what God is doing all over this once Dark Continent right now, we at Philadelphia believe that this is probably the most exciting time in the spiritual history of Africa. Yes – politics, poverty and denominational pettiness aside - a spiritual renaissance is taking place which would literally still have consequences a million years from now!

Against this background, Philadelphia’s “Mission Possible” is to introduce people of all tribes, languages and nations in Africa to Jesus Christ and to assist them in establishing and maintaining a lasting personal relationship with Him. We do this by:

• sharing the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ with people who have not heard it before; while also

• motivating, equipping and training existing Christians to become self-reproducing disciples of Christ.

Sounds exiting? It is. It means that we are dedicated to Christ and immensely grateful for what He has done in our lives. Therefore, we want to share His love, power and salvation with others of this generation who has not experienced it yet. This is done through witnessing, teaching, preaching, drama’s, crusades, literature distribution, film-shows, seminars and any other way we can think of.

As for the training, motivating and equipping of existing Christians, Philadelphia has full-time leadership training programs running in countries such as Zimbabwe, Malawi and Madagascar.
